Clear and remove the tree line behind the water utility easement, as well as remove the trees and stumps indicated in the plans. 2. Install 800+/- feet of 4" DICL water main within private easement along and outside of the legal right-of-way of the northeastern side of Baltimore Rd (SR 3001). A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening. Bids may not be withdrawn during this period. See Instructions to Bidders for other provisions on the time available for acceptance of Bids. All Bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The successful Bidder shall substantially complete the project within 60 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
