Renovation of a municipal facility in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 68,499-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is accepting proposals to furnish all labor, materials, insurance, equipment and supervision required for the abatement and replacement of windows, waterproofing/cleaning of the building façade and envelope, and waterproofing and repair work to the parking surface and underground garages at the TWC Austin Annex building located at 1411 Brazos St, Austin, Texas 78701. The building is project building is a three-story brick and concrete block structure with a concrete slab foundation; approximately 68,499 square feet. There are an additional two stories of garage under the building and a skywalk that connects this building to the Main Building. Interior of project area consists of carpet, ceramic tile, and resilient tile floors; plaster and sheetrock walls; and suspended acoustical tile ceilings. The area of concern for this report is exterior windows, including the glazing, caulking, and interior and exterior materials that may be disturbed during the planned window replacement project.
