Site work for a civil project in Lac La Biche, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Work shall include the construction of a new 10 m single span Type "SL" concrete girder bridge on a steel substructure over a tributary to Beaver River, located 12 km southwest of Lac La Biche (SW 10-66-14-W4M). The Contractor shall construct the single span bridge as per the Drawings and applicable sections of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The bridge will be located on a 30 degree Left Hand Forward (LHF) skew to the local road, centred at Station 10+000.600. The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation Site isolation and turbidity monitoring Fish capture and release Demolition and disposal of bridge structures Supply, setup and driving of steel H-Piles Abutment Construction including small bridge plaques Heavy rock riprap erosion protection Supply, delivery and erection of Type "SL" concrete girders Supply and installation of bridgerail and guardrail Roadway work Permanent environmental protection devices
