Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and golf course.

This Project involves the construction of a 9-hole short course at Jeffersonville Golf Club in West Norriton Township. The work includes rough and fine grading, green and bunker construction, cart path installation, rain garden construction with associated stormwater inlets and piping, and the installation of a 2-wire automated sprinkler system for irrigation. Alternates for this project include the tee box construction, hydroseeding/grassing, and the installation of a satellite irrigation system in lieu of the 2-wire system. This project is re-bid of the original project with a reduced scope and alternates. All materials, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408 and Township Standards. A nominal fee of 0.25% of the bid amount (up to $5,000) is assessed only to bidders awarded contracts. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with Article 15 of the Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 21 13 Instructions Submitting Electronic Bids For This Solicitation and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to West Norriton Township along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be scheduled on PennBid. A notification will be sent out prior to the meeting to confirm the date and time. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of West Norriton Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by West Norriton Township. The project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, PA Prevailing Wage Act as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry. The requirements of the West Norriton Township Responsible Contractor Ordinance will also apply for this project. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. West Norriton Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
