Renovation of a municipal facility in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,100-square-foot, four-story above grade municipal facility.
Project scope includes a complete renovation to both the interior and exterior of the building - 4 floors plus an unoccupied basement. The building square footage is approximately 13,400SF. The existing structure is steel beam and columns, poured concrete floors and non-load-bearing masonry walls. There will be abatement on both the interior and exterior along with extensive demolition. The exterior consists of removal of the brick and CMU back-up on almost 3 sides of the building due to PCB seepage from the window caulk into the masonry. A new brick facade and windows to be installed. There are structural upgrades at all floor levels, elevator and stair tower modernization and a new entry canopy and curtain-wall system at the Airy Street entrance. Exterior utility upgrades are included for storm, sanitary and electric services. All new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems will be installed on the interior along with roof top mechanical equipment inside a screen wall. New roofing and new interior fit-out on all 4 floors. Exterior upgrades include paving, exterior ramp and minor landscaping. Questions Due Date: Mar 21st 2024, 12:00 PM EDT
