Site work for a road / highway in Alanson, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Shawn Beckman - Project Manager will be the contact for the Road Commission on this project for the successful Contractor. This project is funded through the Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council with USFW Fish Passage Grant. John Henry Excavating, Inc. is the contractor that will be installing the new bridge. See the attached plans for proposed length of guardrail needed for the bridge. The existing guardrail will be removed as part of the bridge installation. The work includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the supply and installation of guardrail per the attached specifications. The Board of Emmet County Road Commissioners will award the work at its Friday, March 5, 2021 meeting. This project is funded through USDA NRCS funds and the USFWS Fish Passage Grant. The Contractor is not required to pay current prevailing wage rates. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities in the bid procedure, and to award in the best interest of the Road Commission. No contractual relationship shall exist between the undersigned and the Board for the work described herein until such a time as the full contract documents have been formally executed by both the contractor and the Board
