Work includes construction of new gravity main, force main, construction of new water service, site work, installation of new wet well structure, all electrical components, and all mechanical components necessary for a complete and functional lift station. Start-up and coordination of electric service are also included. Marion County is soliciting fully licensed and qualified firms to submit bids for the CASTRO PLAZA SEPTIC-TO-SEWER project. The project is located in the northwest quadrant of Marion County, Florida. The successful bidder will be responsible for all permits unless stated otherwise within this document and must be licensed by Marion County and State of Florida to perform such work. Project Manager for this project is Bob Titterington, P.E. of the Marion County Utilities Department, Construction Manager for this project is Alejandro Rad, and the Project Engineer of Record (EOR) for this project is Richard V. Busche, P.E. of Kimley-Horn and
Associates, Inc. Successful bidder must be licensed for this type of work and must submit a copy of such license upon award of bid. All local codes and State of Florida ADA Code will apply.
