Final questions are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 15, 2021. A final addendum will be issued by 12:00 p.m. on February 16, 2021. The Work will include, but will not necessarily be limited to, providing all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and testing services for the Police Annex Renovations project as further described in the Contract Documents. Contracts to be awarded include: Contract 1 - Site Work and General Building Construction Contract 2 - Mechanical Contract 3 - Electrical Contract 4 - Plumbing Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the required form, certified check, bank cashier's check, or other security acceptable, to the Owner in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the Bid opening date except as permitted by law and may not be withdrawn during this period. Bidders must Bid on all items listed on the Bid Form. Clay Township reserves the right at its option to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in any or all of Bids and to accept or reject any or all parts of the Bids which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. Site work shall be substantially completed on or before August 1, 2021 or within 120 calendar days of Notice to Proceed date, whichever is later, as provided in Paragraphs 4.01 and 15.03 of the General Conditions. All work included in this Contract shall be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 on or before September 1, 2021 or within 150 calendar days of Notice to Proceed date, whichever is later.
