Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Division 1: The construction includes approximately 4125 square yards (SY) of pavement removal, 4350 SY of 7" Reinforced P.C.C., 5250 SY of subgrade preparation, 5250 SY of modified subbase, 220 SY of driveway pavement, 300 SY of sidewalk pavement, 6 sanitary sewer manhole replacements, 200 LF of 15-inch storm sewer, 700 LF of 18-inch storm sewer, 570 LF of 24-inch storm sewer, 70 LF of 42-inch storm sewer, 153 LF of 48-inch storm sewer, drainage structures, miscellaneous grading, sod restoration, survey, traffic control, and other associated work. Division 2: The construction includes approximately 330 square yards (SY) of pavement removal, 2750 SY of full depth patches, 20 SY of driveway pavement, 35 SY of sidewalk pavement, 1 sanitary sewer manhole replacement, 50 LF of 15-inch storm sewer, 70 LF of 18-inch storm sewer, 60 LF of 36-inch storm sewer, drainage structures, miscellaneous grading, sod restoration, survey, traffic control, and other associated work. Cost: Division 1: $1,184,127 Division 2: $1,300,000 All work is to be done in strict compliance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by Bolton & Menk, Inc. which have been heretofore approved by the City Council and which are now on file for public examination in the office of the City Clerk.
