The Project includes approximately 2,506 square yards 1 1/2 " taper grind at curb/gutter and 920 square yards 20' match end grinds on designated streets. This is a Public Works Contract and subject to the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) Wage Rates, dated July 1, 2020 and Amendments for Region 10 as defined under ORS279C.800 to 279C.870. The City may reject bids not in compliance with all prescribed solicitation procedures or other applicable law and may reject any or all bids when the cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the City, and at no cost to the City. Prices quoted shall be firm offers, irrevocable, valid, and binding after the closing date. SCOPE OF WORK The Project includes approximately 2,506 square yards 1 1/2 " taper grind at curb/gutter and 920 square yards 20' match end grinds on designated streets. The City estimates the Project cost at $270,000, including mobilization and temporary traffic control. A street list of the 2021 Overlay Project is included in Attachment A of this document, and a street map is included as Attachment B. Project will require performance in a professional manner, while providing adequate traffic control to maintain the public's safety. All overlay limits are marked on the ground with white paint. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site of the work prior to bidding to determine the existing road and traffic conditions and to verify the dimensions of the work areas. Dimensions and quantities in the Bid Schedule are approximate only, and the City does not guarantee that the estimated project quantities for materials will be the actual quantity required for the Project. Asphalt Concrete shall be level 2 ACP, 3/8" Dense, with not more than 20% Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) material, in accordance with the Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction, 2015 Edition, Section 00744. Asphalt Cement shall be PG 64-28.
