Springville City is seeking bids for the construction of the 800 South Water Main Replacement project. Work will include installing a new water main on 800 S from Main St to 400 E, installing a new water main crossing under US 89 and bore under the UP RR Tracks connect to existing water main in Old South Main, remove/replace 14 water services, cut/reconnect 21 water services, connect 4 water mains on side streets to new main and install 4 new fire hydrants Install approx. 2000 lf of new 8-inch PVC water main on 800 South from Main Street to 400 East and connect the existing water main; install approx. 300 lf of new 12-inch water main crossing under US 89 and bore under the UP Railroad Tracks and connect to existing main in Old South Main; remove and replace 14 water services, cut and reconnect 21 water services, connect 4 water mains on side streets to new main and install 4 new fire hydrants. Work shall include roadway excavation, boring under the UP railroad tracks, placing new C-900 waterline, installing all new fittings, valves, and fire hydrants, replacing water services and connecting intersecting water mains, and asphalt "T" patch. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid; or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the best interest of the City. Only bids giving a firm quotation properly submitted and signed will be accepted.
