Renovation of a water / sewer project in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids. The project involves the installation of approximately 350 linear feet of 6-inch force main and 8-inch gravity main to divert flow from the existing WWTP to public sewer. This contract includes all work necessary to divert the existing flow form the Malvern Hunt Wastewater Treatment Plant headworks to the existing public sewer adjacent to the plant including: layout, erosion and sedimentation controls, by-passing of flows, excavation, rock removal, pipe installation, installation of a insertion manhole, grading and all restoration work.
