Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,422-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
**As of March 25, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of West Palm Beach is accepting bids from qualified and responsible Contractors to furnish and assume full responsibility for all labor, material, construction equipment and machinery, transportation, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, temporary facilities and all other facilities and incidentals necessary, including supervision, servicing, taxes, bonds and insurance, permitting fees, traffic control, security, miscellaneous costs, warranties, general conditions, overhead and profit to perform the work of the Construction of a new HCD Community Center including sidewalks, parking lot, landscaping, lighting, and utility work as described in the Construction Drawings. Funds for this project are derived from federal grants and therefore the successful Contractor must comply with federal guidelines. The federal funds are appropriated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). The successful Contractor shall be obligated to comply with all applicable federal laws, regulations and requirements. Time is of the essence. Bids must be received by the Procurement Division no later than the time indicated above. The time of receipt shall be determined by the time clock located in the Procurement Division. Bidders are responsible for insuring that their bid is stamped by Procurement office personnel by the deadline indicated. PROJECT NUMBER: 18271054 Site: Housing and Community Development (HCD) Community Center. 1540 N Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407 New one-story commercial use structure that will house the offices for the HCD. The new structure is approximately 5,422 SF to be built south of the existing Urban League building and parking lot. The new building will incorporate new office space, conference rooms, multipurpose rooms and more for various non-profit organizations.
