Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Plainsboro, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the addition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Per the Architect on this project, this original bid on 3/16/2021 was cancelled. They are instead going to be splitting this apart into two separate projects, one for Additions and one for Renovations, and bidding them independently of each other. The Additions project will be out as Architect Solicitation number 5063K1 and is set to bid in May 2021. The Renovations project will be released sometime early summer 2021 and will be under Architect Solicitation number 5063K2. West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District Board of Education will receive bids for Additions to West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North, together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the drawings and specifications prepared by Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, P.C. (FVHD), Architects-Planners. Construction on this project shall proceed in accordance with Executive Orders 122 and 142. Bids will be received for Single Overall Contract (C008 or C009 with C029, C030, C032, C047) Additions to West Windsor-Plainsboro HS North Due to COVID19 and in accordance with EO107 and LFN2020-10 the bid opening will be handled in the following manner Arrive no earlier than 1:50 PM. (10 minutes prior to opening.) Only one representative per company will be permitted. Face Masks required at all times indoors/outdoors. Bid Submissions to be placed on table indicated. Disinfectant spray applied to exterior of bid packages. Weather permitting; the bids will be opened outdoors. (Minimum 6ft. distances required) Indoor Bid Opening (50 people Maximum) Enter directly into Main Meeting Room from outdoors. (No additional building access permitted.) There may be no contact between attendees. All tables and chairs have been cleaned prior to bid opening with Orbio MultiMicro 200. Take a seat or stand at a table only where a tally sheet has been placed. Room is set up to keep minimum 6 ft. distancing. Any bidder not wishing to enter the Main Meeting Room may stand outside (6ft distances must be maintained), doors will be kept open. No physical items, including equipment, may be shared by multiple attendees, unless such items are sanitized before and after use by different individuals. At 2:00 PM (time of bid), Bids will be open and read including subcontractors list. Any bidder requesting review of documentation must remain in place. All other bidders are to leave the building immediately. Document reviews to occur one bidder at a time. Gloves MUST be worn. (Upon request documents can be scanned/emailed for review.) Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Owner for not less than ten percent of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00; and must be delivered to the above place on or before the hour named. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, each proposal shall be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC), prior to date bids are received. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. the Public School Contracts Law. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., Affirmative Action Against Discrimination (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.). An Initial Project Workforce Report will be required from the successful contractor. (Form AA-201). Per N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, contractors and subcontractors must provide a Business Registration Certificate issued prior to the award of contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject all bids or to waive minor informalities in the bidding if it is in the interest of the Owner to do so. Prospective bidders should only rely on original digital and paper versions of the bidding contract documents obtained directly from the Architects office. Any bidder should contact the Architect office at (609) 883-7101 to confirm availability of documents. To obtain bid documents, please download and fill out the Bidder Registration Form, available at electronically , and fax or email the completed form to the Architects Office. Upon receipt of the form, electronic bid documents will be made available for download with an emailed link that will have an expiration date. If disk or paper sets are requested, mail the required payment by check, to the Architects Office. Upon receipt of payment, disk or paper sets will be shipped, or made available for pick-up. All requests for information must be submitted by 4:30 PM, April 20, 2021, and sent via facsimile at (609) 883-2694 or via common carrier to the Architect with the Architect Project Name and Project Number referenced. RFI request submitted to the Architect via E-mail will not be accepted or responded to. The Board of Education and the Architect assume no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. Bid Proposal shall be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a sealed envelope, addressed to the owner, bearing the name and address of the bidder written on the face of the envelope, and clearly marked Bid with the contract title, bid number, bid due and time on the outside of the envelope. Checks for disks and paper sets are payable in advance to Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, P.C. If shipping requested, a direct shipping account number must be provided to the Architect and for paper sets, a non-refundable handling fee of $25 per set payable in advance. Electronic Bid Documents are available without fee.
