CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/5/2021 2:30 PM The Project consists of, but is not limited to, the cleaning and inspection of approximately 50 laterals in the area indicated on the drawing, repairs to laterals will be made to laterals based on the inspections, and rehabilitation to sewer main as indicated on the drawing all within the Borough of Roseto, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The extent of the Work is described in the Contract Documents, Drawings and Specifications. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this projects and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. This project is financed by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. Acknowledgement of Commonwealth financial assistance may be combined with acknowledgement of other funding sources on project signs or in project publications. The Roseto Borough Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received. Except as otherwise provided by law, no bidder may withdraw his bid for sixty (60) days after the Bid Due Date, unless the contract award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case the Bids shall remain open to acceptance and shall be irrevocable for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the Bid Due Date.
