Minimum wage rates to be paid by the contractor(s) have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581. Those which apply to this project are set forth in the proposal for this project: Construction Plan for: S.A.P. 37-602-021 - Bituminous Overlay and Aggregate Shouldering S.A.P. 37-624-013 - Bituminous Overlay and Aggregate Shouldering S.A.P. 37-630-011 - Bituminous Overlay and Aggregate Shouldering S.A.P. 37-634-014 - Full Depth Reclamation, Bituminous Surfacing and Aggregate Shouldering The major items of work are 85,140 SY of FULL DEPTH RECLAMATION (10"), 49,410 tons of TYPE SP 9.5 WEARING COURSE MIX (2,B), 30,150 tons of SHOULDER BASE AGGREGATE CLASS 1, 9,530 Tons of TYPE SP 4.5 WEARING COURSE MIX (2,B), and various other related items of construction. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bidders bond made payable to Lac qui Parle County in a sum not less than 5% of the bid. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to wave any informalities therein and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the County.
