Site work for a civil project in Lacombe, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Work shall include the installation of a new bridge over Parlby Creek, located approximately 7 km northwest of Alix (SW 15-40-23-W4). The Contractor shall install a new three span (8m 14m 8m) Type "SL" Concrete Girder Bridge as per the Drawings and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation Site isolation and water accommodation Fish Capture and Release Total suspended solids (TSS) testing Demolition and disposal of bridge structure Structural excavation Supply, Set-Up and Drive steel H-piles Abutment and pier construction including small bridge plaques Supply and Fabrication, Delivery and Erection of precast concrete SL girders Heavy rock riprap erosion protection Roadway work Supply and install bridgerail and guardrail including delineator guide posts Permanent environmental protection devices
