**As of April 1, 2021 This project has been awarded. The start date was February 16 and the completion date is May 31.** The City of Dover reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the City; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the City to do so. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Agent (l.simmons@dover.nh.gov) no later than seven (7) calendar days before the Request for Proposals due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. No Late, Emailed or Faxed proposals will be accepted. Aboveground Storage Tank Removal, located at XX South Pine Street, Dover, NH: 1. Obtain necessary permits from the Dover Fire Department (no fee). 2. Remove pumpable contents from the tank. 3. Purge the tank. 4. Measure explosive gases with a 4-gas meter. 5. Remove fill pump. 6. Load and transport tank off-site to licensed disposal facility, and provide documentation of disposal location for City of Dover records. Aboveground Storage Tank Installation, located at 145 Court Street, Dover, NH: 1. Obtain necessary permits from the Dover Fire Department (no fee). 2. Provide and install one (1) 300-gallon Fireguard thermally protected, double wall steel storage tank. 3. Provide and install one (1) 3 1/2gallon spill bucket. 4. Provide and install one (1) 4" emergency relief vent for the primary containment. 5. Provide and install one (1) 4" emergency relief vent for the interstitial space of the secondary containment. 6. Provide and install one (1) overfill alarms, clock gauges, fill and vent pipes. 7. Provide and install one (1) mechanical interstitial leak sensors. 8. Transfer pumped fuel from former aboveground storage tank to the new aboveground storage tank. 9. Provide and install one (1) new 15 gpm fill pump. 10. Prime and test the system. All State of NH & local codes, permits and licensing requirements must be met by anyone performing work on City property. Vendor will be required to obtain permits prior to commencing any work, if applicable. Local permit fees will be waived by city. Copies of such permits and licenses will be forwarded to the Purchasing Agent for the file prior to work commencing.
