The estimated construction budget is between $715,000 to $775,000. The Parish of St. Charles, hereby advertises bids for construction of St, Charles Parish Courthouse AHU-5 HVAC System Replacement. 1. Asbestos abatement to properly remove and dispose of portions of HVAC ductwork that were found to have asbestos seam tape. 2. Replacement of existing air handling unit AHU-5 including ductwork distribution, air terminal units, diffusers, components and accessories. Work includes selective demolition and replacement of electrical and control power conduit and wiring. 3. Replacement of existing ceiling lay-in tiles and support framing, components and accessories with new. 4. Replacement of existing floor carpet, components and accessories with new carpet and vinyl tile throughout. 5. Replacement of data communication wiring and devices. Work includes selective demolition and replacement of electrical and control power conduit and wiring. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in accordance with the Public Bid Law, and to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond.
