Renovation of a municipal facility in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
In general the work consists of: Replace the existing boiler feedwater treatment equipment. Specific equipment to be replaced includes the water softeners, reverse osmosis system, and carbon filter. All associated pumps piping and valves will be replaced. Winter heating loads have been reviewed to properly size the new RO unit. The existing dealkalyzer will be demolished The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. There will not be a pre-bid tour of the site due to COVID-19 restrictions
