The scope of work generally consists of installation of approximately 160m of concrete storm sewer (1800mm to 2100mm nom. dia.; bends, manholes, tie-ins), installation of cast-in-place inlet and outlet headwalls, improvements to inlet and outlet creek channels, daylighting of a section of creek at the outlet, relocation of approximately 150m of water main and approximately 120m of sanitary sewer relocations. Additionally, the scope of work includes the construction of a one-way construction traffic detour on currently unopened District road allowance, complete with (optional) construction of a new water main under the proposed construction detour road. The scope of the works generally involves the following major work items: Mobilize and set up job.
Comprehensive traffic management throughout the project.
Complete and regularly update the Construction Schedule and required permits and plans.
Complete utility locates prior to construction.
Complete excavation, trenching, removal and disposal of unsuitable materials, and supply and place imported materials.
Manage water during the Work, including bypass pumping as required, and prevention of discharge to water courses and bodies.
Supply materials for and construct sanitary sewer works.
Supply materials for and construct water works.
Supply materials for and construct storm sewer works.
Supply and install materials for and construct inlet and outlet structures, railings and associated works.
Supply materials for and construct creek and channel works, including excavation, embankment construction, and armouring.
Complete tie-ins to existing piping; operate and/or lock out valves (following District approval of the work).
Restore all pavements and other surfaces.
Complete landscaping works c/w electrical works and light relocations as shown on landscaping drawings.
Complete construction to extend Naughton Avenue, and complete street paving in designated areas along Gallant Ave. and Panorama drive.
Complete sidewalk construction complete with tree cells and new street lights. Extents as shown on drawings or as needed to restore work areas.
Comply with requirements for environmental procedures.
Maintain up-to-date documents on site during construction, and provide complete record drawing markups for all disciplines monthly for each Progress payment, and at completion.
Final cleanup and demobilization.
