Renovation of a medical facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to The University of Utah, must be procured and submitted to the University of Utah within 24 hours after the bid due time. The bid bond may be scanned and submitted with the online bid via www.bidsync.com at the time of the bid. Construction Constraints: Paint contractor to patch and repair as needed. Owner to remove all wall hung items. Sand and prep the areas. Wet sand most often, at times containment and vacuum sand will be required/necessary. Standard ICRA requirements to be met. In inpatient units, wall protection will be removed by owner, leaving existing aluminum brackets. Paint contractor to be responsible to and cut in/around aluminum frames. Ancillary and support spaces, wall protection typically only corner guards. Existing furniture will be removed by furniture installers and frames or wall rails may remain in place. Paint contractor to be responsible to and cut in/around frames. Storage. Paint can be stored on site. Supervision. Supervision (foreman) required for paint crew at all times. Paint crew may need to stop work at any time and immediately exit the unit, in the event of an emergency. The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the University.
