Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name and address of the bidder and marked "Purchase of Substation Power Transformer". Bidders may obtain documents from Utility Engineers, PC, 861 Saint Johns Road, Suite 6, Drums, PA 18222, (570) 788-2211. Each bidder will be furnished one (1) set only of bid documents. Electronic copies of the bid documents are available from the Engineer. Request for electronic documents can be made from nbaron@uepc.net or sloucks@ uepc.net. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten-percent (10%) made payable to the Borough of Schuylkill Haven. Bids shall be irrevocable for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening and bidders may not withdraw their bids during that period. The Borough of Schuylkill Haven reserves the right to award separate bids for each section, accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in any bid for the best interest of the Borough of Schuylkill Haven and to consider the competency and responsibility of the Bidders in awarding the contract.
