Site work and asbestos abatement for a medical facility in Ogdensburg, New York. Completed plans call civil work for a hospital.
As of June 23, 2021, This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. DASNY is soliciting bids for the Building 202 Exterior Building Envelope Rehabilitation and Asbestos Abatement project at St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center. The primary goal of the project is to address the deficiencies in the existing exterior building envelope. The scope includes but not limited to the removal of the existing exterior masonry veneer units, masonry ties and rigid insulation throughout the full building perimeter, and to install a vapor barrier on new plywood sheathing with new rigid insulation and a thin brick masonry system. All windows will be removed and replaced. Similarly, all exterior doors including hardware, will be replaced to meet Office of Mental Health Patient Safety Standards. There will also be asbestos abatement associated with the scope of work. One General Construction Contract will be awarded with an estimate of $2,250,000 - $2,750,000. The deadline for submitting questions shall be no later than: 5:00pm on Monday, March 22, 2021.
