Site work and paving for a road / highway in Denver, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project includes: select base repair on Locust Street between North 3rd Street and North 6th Street; full depth reconstruction of Cherry Alley between North 5th Street and North 4th Street. A ten percent (10%) bid security in the form of certified or bank check or bid bond must accompany each sealed proposal. Wages paid for all Work performed shall comply with the Pennsylvania Minimum Prevailing Wage Act as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Bidders shall be PennDOT prequalified for the work per Publication 408, Section 102.1. The Borough of Denver reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Borough. The Borough also reserves the right, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bid. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/16/2021 4:00 PM There is no budget available to the public. Construction to commence early June 2021 All work contained within this contract shall be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from "Notice to Proceed". Liquidated damages shall be assessed at three hundred dollars ($300.00) per calendar day for work not completed within the specified time period
