This RFT is an invitation by the City to prospective Suppliers to submit bids for the rehabilitation of the Don River Boulevard Bridge over West Don River (ID 758) in Toronto, ON, including, but not limited to: replacement of the superstructure, substructure repairs, electrical works The Supplier must provide reference projects for the purpose of confirming the Supplier's experience and track record of success. The Supplier shall provide the requested references for clients who have obtained construction services similar to those required for the Project from the Supplier in the last five (5) years. Failure to provide verifiable experience shall result in the bid being declared non-compliant. The Supplier must have successfully completed as the General Contractor as defined in the Construction Act at least two (2) similar bridge construction projects with each project value in excess of $1,500,000.00 (Canadian dollars, excluding HST) in the last five (5) years, involving bridge rehabilitation or replacement work over water on an urban local or arterial roadway in Canada; The Supplier must have successfully completed as the General Contractor as defined in the Construction Act at least two (2) similar bridge construction projects with an aggregate value of $2,500,000.00 (Canadian dollars, excluding HST) total in the last five (5) years (with no individual project less than $1,000,000.00 (Canadian dollars, excluding HST)), involving bridge rehabilitation or replacement work over water on an urban local or arterial roadway in Canada.
