For North Caln Road Area Sewer Modifications CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/31/2021 12:00 PM The sewer construction project will involve the installation of approximately 113 linear feet of 15 diameter gravity sanitary sewer, new concrete manholes, manhole modifications, and abandonment of existing sewer pipes at a site along N. Caln Road in Caln Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Completion of the work will also include bypass pumping, traffic control, pavement and ground restoration, and testing of the completed system. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Waiver of Lien.
