Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Caln, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of November 14, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The work generally consists of demolition of the designated structure (including asbestos and lead survey and any required remediation); cutting and capping existing utilities; off-site disposal of all demolition debris; cutting, capping and incasing irrigation lines into new hotbox; stormwater and spring swale rehabilitation; complete restoration and landscaping of all areas disturbed during demolition project. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. CALN TOWNSHIP reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof and to accept any Bids, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Township.
