Project Description: This project is to construct a recycled water treatment plant with 50,000 GPD capacity at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. The secondary wastewater treatment facility (SWWTF) must utilize dissolved air flotation and chlorine treatment, add 10,000 linear feet of recycled water distribution pipe, and a recycled water storage tank. This system will treat water from the existing water treatment lagoon and provide distribution network through the Fort Hunter Liggett cantonment for irrigation, use in evaporative cooling units in HVAC systems, and other uses in facilities fitted with dual plumbing to facilitate use of recycled water. In accordance with FAR 36.204(f), the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $1M - $5M. This prospective contract action will be conducted using the NAICS Code 221310 - Water Supply and Irrigation Systems with a size standard of $30M and the Product Supply Code is Y1ND - Construction of Sewage and Waste Facilities.
