Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of rooftop units that serve the Cafeteria, Kitchen and Faculty spaces. The existing heating and ventilating units will be replaced to provide heating, cooling, and ventilation. Existing interior ductwork will be removed and replaced with larger ductwork to allow for cooling. The new units will be sized for MERV 13 filters and will be provided with bipolar ionization equipment and demand control ventilation to minimize outside air when the spaces are not occupied. The existing cafeteria window storefronts will be removed and replaced. North Wing Scope of Work: The scope of the project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of (4) rooftop units at Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Middle School that serve the North Classroom Wing. The units will be a direct replacement to provide heating, cooling, and ventilation reusing existing interior ductwork. The new units will be sized for MERV 13 filters and will be provided with bipolar ionization equipment. Bidders must email their request at least twenty-four (24) hours or one (1) business day in advance to gain access to bid documents. Project information is also available on the Architect Electronically. It is expressly understood that the bidder is responsible for getting the bid proposals to the Business Administrator prior to the time and date set for the bid opening. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. In order to be considered, bids must be sealed and outer envelope clearly marked: Cafeteria and North Wing RTU Replacement at Bridgewater Raritan Middle School PSA. Questions will be considered only up until ten days prior to the opening of bids. Cafeteria RTU. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of (1) a bid bond or certified or cashier's check payable to the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education equal to 10% of the amount of the bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000.00. The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive any immaterial defects in any bid, or to award a lump sum contract, in accordance with the requirements of the Public School Contracts Law at N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date.
