The purpose of this ITB is to establish an agreement for Commercial Waste and Recycling Services at all District buildings described herein. It is the intent of the District to award a service contract to a single vendor. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality. All questions, requests for information or clarification pertaining to this bid must be submitted in writing to Jason Breit at jason.breit@lps53.org Monday, March 29, 2021 Question Deadline - 3:00 PM CST Tuesday, April 20, 2021 BOE Recommendation for Award Wednesday, April 21, 2021 Vendor Award Notification The initial contract term from this bid will begin on July 1, 2021 and will run through June 30, 2022 with the option to renew for three (3) annual one (1) year terms, for a total term not to exceed four (4) years. Price escalation for successive years will be noted on the bid response sheet by identifying the potential for price increases by a percentage. At the end of the term, if the contract is not renewed by either party, the contract at that time will convert to a monthto-month contract term The District reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any quote/proposal/bid, to waive technicalities, and to accept the offer that the District considers to be the most advantageous. The District reserves the right to accept the Bid that, in its judgment, is the lowest and/or best Bid. The delivery date(s) or dates when work will start shall be stated in definite terms, as they will be taken into consideration when making the award.
