The includes installing approximately 3,150 feet of 4-inch, 4,100 feet of 6-inch, 7,060 feet of 8-inch, and 500 feet of 10-inch ductile iron water pipe; replace all fire hydrants, valves, and air vents; install 4-inch blow-off valves; replace all water service lines and old meter boxes; abandon existing water main; install approximately 25 feet of 4- inch and 610 feet of 6-inch ductile iron sewer force main pipe; replace all air vents; abandon existing 6-inch ductile iron force main; replace approximately 630 feet of gravity sewer with 8-inch PVC pipe and 100 feet of gravity sewer with 8-inch ductile iron pipe; replace approximately 900 feet of sewer laterals with 4-inch PVC and install new sewer clean out; replace 2 sewer manholes; replace one inside drop connection; rehab manholes; and CCTV new gravity sewer main and laterals. The City of Virginia Beach, Virginia will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of all equipment, labor and material, and the performing of all work for the above described project.
