Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New London, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project is Targeted Group (TG) Economically Disadvantaged (ED) Veteran-Owned preference and has a 3% (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goal established. A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General Construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. Construction of new bike trail and rehab of existing bike trail from Hwy 71 Tunnel thru Sibley State Park and ending near the beach area. Total length of work of base bid is 2.43 miles. Major Work Items Include: Clear and Grub-3 acres; Preassembled Silt Fence-6,374 LF;Excavation-6,496 CY; Granular Borrow-1,800 CY;Grade and Compact Subgrade-20,921 SY; Aggregate base- 20,066 SY (12 in thick); Bituminous Removal-3,588SY; Bituminous surface-14,864 SY; Curb & Gutter-799 LF; Concrete (6" thick)-1,154 SF;Boulder Retaining Wall-1,272 SF: Erosion Blanket-17,796 SY; Concrete Pipes-146 LF; Corrugated Aluminum Steep Pipes-396 LF; Landscaping with hydraulic mulch, seed, Hydraulic Matrix. C. Description of Alternates: Continuation of bike trail construction for 0.6 miles and construction on campground road. Estimated Value: $1,222,770.90 Completion Date: 09/03/2021
