Site work for a civil project in Houghton, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of 06/07/2021 This project has not yet been awarded. In general, the improvements include: Construction of a concrete and steel sheet pile waterfront recreational pier, with mooring stations, a multi-use concrete pathway, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, landscaping and misc. site amenities as detailed in the Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids will be based on a Lump Sum contract. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders Financing for this project is being provided by an MEDC Community Development Block Grant, which requires approval by its representatives of all Contracts, attachments, and similar documents, all partial and final payments, and all change orders. Davis Bacon wage rates are required for this project. The Contractor must comply with the minimum rates for wages for laborers and mechanics as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the provisions of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts
