Renovation of a mixed-use development in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a six-story above grade parking garage.
Complete modernization of the single traction passenger elevator in the Walker Avenue Parking Deck at 506 Stirling St. on the campus of UNCG. Also included are related general construction, mechanical, and electrical tasks. The Contractor shall commence work to be performed under this Contract on a date to be specified in written order from the Designer, and shall fully complete all work hereunder within 200 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. For each day in excess of the above number of days, the Contractor shall pay the Owner the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) per day as liquidated damages reasonably estimated in advance to cover the losses to be incurred by the Owner should the Contractor fail to complete the Work within the time specified. : Closeout is hereby defined to include general requirements near end of contract time, in preparation for final acceptance, final payment, normal termination of contract, occupancy by Owner, and similar actions evidencing completion of the work.
