Pump Station 142 Improvements - This Work Includes Bypass Pumping, Cleaning And Dewatering Of Existing Wet Well, Removal Of Existing Pumps, Piping, Valves And Electrical From The Dry Well And Abandonment Of The Dry Well, Rehabilitation Of Existing Wet Well, Installation Of Submersible Pumps, Base Elbows, Guide Rails, Piping, Valves And Electrical, Electrical Wiring Interconnection Of New Equipment to Terminal Junction Box/control Panel, Installation Of A Concrete Access Drive To Pump Station, Perform Startup, Site Restoration And Cleanup. On a daily basis or more often if ordered by the Engineer, the Contractor shall clean up and remove all refuse and unused materials resulting from the work. Upon failure to do so within 48 hours after written order by the Engineer, the work may be done by the City-Parish and the cost thereof deducted from payments for the work. Upon completion of the work and at the end of the day, the Contractor shall remove all materials not used in the work and all equipment and put the work area in a neat and clean condition satisfactory to the Engineer. It is important that surface restoration, remedial, or follow-up work be done in a timely manner. Contractor shall complete surface restoration in the required timeframes for construction situations dictated below. A variance to these required timeframes may be granted by the Engineer due to project specific conditions.
