Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Montgomery, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of the following major components: 1. Demolition of existing extended-shaft centrifugal pump and installation of four new dry-pit submersible pumps and associated piping. 2. Installation of new slide gates in pump station wet well. 3. Installation of eight new variable frequency drives, new power distribution to new pumps, and replacement of miscellaneous power and control panels. 4. Structural rehabilitation of the pump station wet well concrete substrate and application of corrosion resistant coating in wet well. 5. New interior and exterior structural steel. 6. New traveling bridge crane and monorail hoists. 7. Miscellaneous architectural improvements to include new pump station roof, doors, guard railing, and new elevator system. 8. New ventilation system to include new supply fans, exhaust fans, and interior ductwork. 9. Temporary by-pass pumping of raw sewage around large pump station where work is being conducted. The OWNER will only accept Proposals from contractors duly licensed by the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors as required by applicable Alabama law, including without limitation Ala.
