Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 133,500-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
New Atlantic / SCS received job specific Trade Contractor prequalification submittals 4/23/21. The bid date for prequalified trade contractor bids has not yet been determined. As of May 18, 2022, construction is underway. New construction of the 133,500 SF Woods Creek Elementary School consisting of high bay / administration area, two-story classroom wing, and single story classroom wing. The site will include multiple play areas, parking lots, traffic loop through the property, earthwork and storm drainage, site utilities and site fencing. Associated off-site utilities and pump station are included in the project. Work will include, but is not limited to: surveying, earthwork, utilities, paving, landscaping, site concrete, site fencing, building concrete, masonry, structural & miscellaneous steel, roofing, doors/frames, hardware, glass & glazing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, tiling, flooring, painting, signage, toilet partitions & accessories, aluminum canopies, visual display boards, food equipment, stage equipment, elevator, window treatments, casework, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical and electrical.
