Successful BIDDER is required to execute a contract and furnish a Material Supply Bond in the full amount of the contract. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and to furnish satisfactory Material Supply bond within 10 days from the date on which he is notified that his bid has been accepted, the amount of his check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the SRWA/Brownsville PUB as mutually agreed to liquidated damages, and not as a penalty. No bid will be considered if the Material Supply Bond is not provided as required. The SRWA/BPUB specifically reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or informalities in any or all bids and to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Board
