ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER BROOKLYN CENTER, MN BROOKLYN BOULEVARD (CSAH 152) RECONSTRUCTION CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NOS. 2021-05 S.P. NOS. 109-020-013, 027-752-032, 141-020-118, 2755-105 S.A.P. NO. 109-124-001 CLOSING DATE: 4/9/21 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: The City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received in the office of the City Clerk, 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, for the following Project: Improvement Project NOS. 2021-05, SP NOS. 109-020-014, 027-752-036 and SAP No. 109-101-006, Brooklyn Boulevard (CSAH 152) Reconstruction. Sealed Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m., local time, on Friday, April 9, 2021, at the Brooklyn Center City Offices, at which time and place the City Engineer, or their designated representatives, shall publicly open and read aloud the Bids. The project shall consist of the following approximate quantities: Excavation: 25,000 C.Y. Storm Sewer Pipe: 6,800 L.F. DIP Water Main: 300 L.F. Sanitary Sewer Pipe: 1,100 L.F. Inplace Sewer Pipe Lining: 1,500 L.F. Bituminous Pavement: 14,000 TONS Bituminous Trail: 59,000 S.F. Concrete Driveway Pavement: 1,400 S.Y. Concrete Curb and Gutter: 18,000 L.F. Concrete Sidewalk: 69,000 S.F. Signal System: 2 EACH Landscape Monument: 1 EACH Lighting Unit: 78 EACH Striping Multi Component Ground In: 7,000 L.F. Sodding: 22,000 S.Y. The provisions of Minnesota Statute 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this Contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to this Advertisement for Bids shall comply with the provisions of the statute. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations.
