Renovation of a detention facility in Santa Barbara, California. Design plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Per the owner, as of March 21, 2022, they were only able to do a programming contract. Owner states that actual design will be done in 2023. Owner states that it will most likely be a couple of years for construction to begin. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .................. Deadline for Final Questions Friday, May 21, 2021 Request for Qualifications for Architectural Services The overall goal of this RFQ is to provide the County with a complete set of buildable construction documents that meet the programmatic needs of the Sheriff's Departments for the scope of work identified at Phases 1a and 1b in the table above. The Consultant will be required to have detailed constructability reviews and cost estimates performed at each phase of design by an independent general contractor and estimating firms and adjust the design to be in accordance with the project requirements and budget. All questions to be submitted Electronically. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
