For Sheriff's Data Center Refresh and Disaster Recovery. This Request for Proposal is presented by the Santa Barbara Sheriffs Office. The Sheriffs Office is somewhat independent for our County's centralized IT Team. The Sheriffrelies on County's Central IT for networking and firewall security on an Active Directory domain that is separate from the rest of the county. The Sheriffs IT Team manages and supports the Sheriff Office's server, application, desktop, and mobile environment. This environment consists of approximately: 800 users spread across 28 locations throughout the County of Santa Barbara 450 desktops, 350 mobile devices including MDCs, Laptops and iPhones 230 virtual servers including critical public safety applications
