Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Dexter, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,424-square-foot transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

**As of May 06, 2021, the project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award is not yet determined. A 1,376 s.f. living quarters including sleeping quarters, common area with a kitchenette, and bathroom facilities with showers. A 6,048 s.f. aircraft storage and maintenance hangar including an 18 ft high sectional rolling hangar door. The building will be Type II-B construction. In addition, there will be a new water connection, new electrical service, new communications connection, a raised mound septic system, and access controls. A Cashier's Check, drawn upon a state or national bank, or a Proposal Bond with a Surety's Bond Affidavit, in the penal sum of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price will be required with each bid Proposal. The Contractor or Subcontractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in the award and performance of Department contracts. The Contractor shall carry out the applicable requirements of Article 15A of the New York State Executive Law, and the regulations promulgated thereunder found in 5 NYCRR 140-145. Failure by the Contractor to carry out these requirements is a material breach of this contract, which may result in the termination of this contract or such other remedy as the Department deems appropriate, which may include, but is not limited to: (1) withholding contract payments; (2) assessing sanctions; (3) liquidated damages; and/or (4) disqualifying the Contractor from future bidding as nonresponsible. The Contractor shall not use the requirements of these specifications to discriminate against any qualified company or group of companies. These requirements shall be made a part of all subcontracts and agreements entered into as a result of this contract. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the name of the bid and the words "SEALED BID" written on the outside of the envelope. Please submit three (3) copies one (1) original unbound two (2) copies. All Bids are to be delivered to the Jefferson County Purchasing Department with the following information clearly labeled on the outside of a sealed envelope: project number, location of airport and name and business address of the bidder. When sent by mail, preferably registered, the sealed proposal, marked as indicated above, should be enclosed in an additional envelope.
