Watertown International Airport Rehabilitation of Runway 10-28. In accordance with Section 103 of General Municipal Law, State of New York, Jefferson County (herein called the County) invites the submission of sealed bids for: All questions regarding this bid should be submitted in writing (mail, fax, or email) to the Engineer, McFarland Johnson, at aerdmann@mjinc.com and copy the County Purchasing Department, at purchasing@co.jefferson.ny.us. No verbal questions (in person, phone, etc.) will be answered. No bids will be considered if received after the due date and time and the Purchasing Department shall assume no responsibility for the premature opening of any bid not properly addressed and identified. Rehabilitate Runway 10-28 pavement rehabilitation is broken into Base Bid and Add Alternate. The Base Bid will include the rehabilitation of the Runway 10 side and the Add Alternate will include rehabilitation of the Runway 28 side. The Base bid includes 15,100 Tons FAA P401 Bituminous surface course, 40,400 Square Yards Runway pavement milling, and 14 FAA L-858 LED Airfield Guidance signs. The Add alternate bid includes 10,000 Tons FAA P401 Bituminous surface course, 37,900 Square Yards Runway pavement milling, and 7 FAA L858 LED Airfield Guidance signs. Work includes maintenance and protection of traffic, safety and phasing compliance, milling of pavement, installation of pavement, and other ancillary work. The project also includes the installation of 2 supplemental wind cones. Copies of this bid may be examined at the County Purchasing Department. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids received.
