The Project consists of construction of a potable water distribution system to service a new Business Complex adjacent to Watertown International Airport, and construction of a sanitary sewer discharge line from the new Business Complex to the Town of Hounsfield sanitary sewer. Bids will be received for Contract No. 1 - Pipeline Construction. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. Bidding Documents may be examined at the office of the printing company, Syracuse Blue Print Company, 825 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, New York 13210 and the office of the Jefferson County Industrial Development Agency, 800 Starbuck Avenue, Watertown New York 13601, on Mondays through Fridays during regular business hours. PRE-BID CONFERENCE Not Used All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents via return receipt or facsimile to respective addresses furnished for such purposes, not later than four (4) days prior to the day fixed for opening bids. Prospective bidders are cautioned concerning the use of P.O. Box addresses as facsimile addenda cannot be sent to Post Office Boxes. Questions received less than seven five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or defects in such bid either before or after opening.
