Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ankeny, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The High Trestle Trail Trailhead Parking Lot project includes the paving of the parking lot at the High Trestle Trail Trailhead along with the trail connection, just north of the City's booster station at the intersection of NW Irvinedale Drive and NW 18th Street in the City of Ankeny The improvements include approximately 1,030 SY of 6" thick PCC pavement, 500 SY of 5" thick PCC recreational trail, 50 SY of 6" thick recreational trail, 470 LF of sanitary sewer service, 340 LF of water service, subgrade preparation and site lighting and electrical service. Other associated improvements include temporary traffic control, erosion control, pavement markings, culverts, tree installation and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project. The City of Ankeny reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of bids and no bid may be withdrawn during this period. The City of Ankeny does hereby reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
