**As of April 14, 2021, this project has been awarded to Superior Bowen Asphalt Company in the amount of $3,045,021.98. The Work for the project, Mill & Overlay 21/22, includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Full depth asphalt patching, asphalt milling and asphalt overlay, pavement striping, and providing traffic control, as specified by the Owner, including all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and any and all other items necessary to complete the Work. Prepare and transmit each submittal sufficiently in advance so that the installation will not be delayed by processing times (including disapproval and re-submittal (if required), coordination with other submittals, testing, purchasing, fabrication, delivery and similar sequenced activities). No extension of time will be authorized because of the Contractor's failure to transmit submittals sufficiently in advance of the Work. Each submittal shall be reviewed by the person, City Department or entity designated for review of the particular submittal as set forth within the submittal checklist contained in 1.01 of Section 01116. This work shall consist of preparing and treating an existing bituminous or concrete surface with a low-tracking or non-tracking tack coat material prior to an asphalt overlay in accordance with Section 407, except as revised by this specification.
