The South Dakota Department of the Military, on behalf of the South Dakota Army National Guard, Construction and Facilities Management Office, is soliciting Statements of Interest from firms interested in providing professional Architectural and Engineering design services for the 466261 - Repair Geothermal System - JFHQ project located at 2823 West Main Street, Rapid City, South Dakota 57702. This project will involve site investigative, design development, and bidding services to repair the existing geothermal system that helps supply climate control to the JFHQ at Camp Rapid. Repair and replace existing valves, motors, pumps, and all required system infrastructure to ensure system operates correctly. Additional services such as construction administration/inspection will be negotiated at a later date should the project proceed to the construction phase. Anticipated project timeline is as follows: Complete By: Schematic Design/Site Investigation Phase June 11, 2021 35% Design Due July 2, 2021 95% Design Due August 13, 2021 Firms desiring to be considered for providing professional services for this project should send a Statement of Interest that outlines their qualifications and experience for this project. Statements of Interest should clearly address each of the following criteria: 1. Project approach and methodology to meet the project requirements (10%); 2. Project teams specialized expertise, capabilities, and technical competence to meet the project requirements (10%); 3. Ability and proven history in handling special project constraints (Scope, Time and Cost) (10%). 4. Proposed project management techniques. (10%); 5. Availability to the project locale (10%); 6. Familiarity with the project facility (20%); 7. Resources available to perform the work, including any specialized services and their roles within the project, within the specified time limits for the project. Resumes of team member's professional accomplishments and experience with similar projects to be included. (20%); 8. Record of past performance, including price and cost data from previous projects, quality of work, ability to meet schedules, cost control, and contract administration.
