REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF INTEREST The South Dakota Department of the Military, on behalf of the South Dakota Army National Guard, Construction and Facilities Management Office, is soliciting Statements of Interest from firms interested in providing professional Architectural and Engineering design services for the 462001 - Construct SIM Building - West Camp Rapid project located at 1001 South 44th Street, Rapid City, South Dakota 57702. This project will involve site investigative, design development, and bidding services for the construction of an 11,000 square foot steel frame cold storage building. Additional services such as construction administration/inspection will be negotiated at a later date should the project proceed to the construction phase. Estimated construction budget for the project is $623,850.00, but be advised that this number is subject to change. Anticipated project timeline is as follows: Completed By: Schematic Design/Site Investigation Phase: June 11, 2021 35% Design Due: July 2, 2021 65% Design Due: July 23, 2021 95% Design Due: August 19, 2021 Firms desiring to be considered for providing professional services for this project should send a Statement of Interest that outlines their qualifications and experience for this project. Statements of Interest should clearly address each of the following criteria: 1. Project approach and methodology to meet the project requirements (10%); 2. Project teams specialized expertise, capabilities, and technical competence to meet the project requirements (10%); 3.
