This work project includes the replacement of the roof on Sheddon Cottage located on the campus of Legacy Park at 500 South Columbia Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30030. Repair and Replace Decking 2. Replace 2X6 Rafters 1. The Contractor shall remove all existing roofing material down to the decking. 2. The Contractor shall remove all gutters. 3. The Contractor shall inspect decking for damaged decking and replace all damaged decking. 4. The Contractor shall inspect 2X6 rafters and replace damaged rafters. 5. The Contractor shall repair damaged chimney. 6. The contractor shall install ice and water barrier in valleys around all pipes and around both chimneys. 7. The contractor shall install synthetic underlayment Summit 60 or equivalent over entire deck. 8. The contractor shall install wind resistant starter strips. 9. The Contractor shall install 30 year 3-tab fiberglass shingles in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. 10. The Contractor shall install shingles using 4 nails per shingle. 11. The Contractor shall install new drip edge around entire roof 12. The Contractor shall replace all pipe boots using neoprene boots and cap. 13. The Contractor shall install new flashing around chimneys, sidewall, pitch breaks and plumbing boots. 14. The Contractor shall install 6 inch seamless gutters. 15. The Contractor shall install downspouts for gutters
